The Fort St. John Professional Firefighters Association serves both its members and the community we call home. As part of the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF), Local 2143 is proud to advocate for the FSJ membership, ensuring they have the resources, training, and support necessary to perform their jobs safely and effectively while in the line of duty. The Fort St. John Firefighters Charitable Society strengthens this commitment to community service by supporting community initiatives and individuals facing financial hardship.

Meet Briggs 🐾🚒
Our new spotted little team mate might not fight fires, but their job is just as important!
They now ride along with our firefighters and are given to children during emergencies to help bring comfort and reassurance during often stressful or difficult moments.
Thank you so much to our winners Bailey and Lainey for helping us land on the perfect name! Short for fire brigade, it is a tribute to the roots of our department and the group of dedicated community members who came together to form the towns first firefighting brigade.

Monday through Saturday from 1:00-5:00 pm and running the full two weeks of spring break! Kids and adults welcome.
